The baby weighs in at 4 lbs 10 oz today.
(This is only a picture of the head looking forward, but on its side with the mouth on the left side)

Additional Ultrasounds

Baby is sucking its thumb in this image from 15 weeks.
(Click the picture for the rest of the images).

19 weeks - Skeletor and Castle Grayskull

We don't know the sex of the baby, and as it tuns out, we are not entirely sure it is even human....

My left foot

My feet may not be my greatest asset, but at least I have passed them down to our kid. Apparently the trait of having a second toe that is longer than your first toe is inherited, and it didn't come from Jay.

Bob Hope?

Decidedly less blob-like at 11 weeks. Though the Bob Hope ski slope nose was a bit disconcerting (it turns out it is actually part of a hand in front of the face).

8 weeks

Still looks quite blob-like to me.

6 weeks

The blob on the left is the actual baby. The blob on the right is a yolk sac (who knew?). Jay thought it was twins and turned a ghostly shade of pale and started sweating profusely until he was assured that the blob on the left was not going to spontaneously split into two blobs at some later unspecified date, say, when it comes time to pay for college.
